The test swatch for my beetle pattern came, and it looks great! The black is not quite as dark printed out, but I think that might just be the fabric I chose. If you’re interested, it’s up for sale on Spoonflower now as fabric, gift wrap, wallpaper, and decals. Check it!
Je vois le scarabée en marron foncé et le fond en marron plus clair.
Je pensais déjà à faire une version avec des bruns. Bonne suggestion!
Does anyone else want to vote for a dark brown beetle on a light brown background? If enough of you say you want it, I’ll make it available.
YES absolutely, i’d love to have some fabric of that in bw or any colors (rainbow maybe?)
Okay, great! I went ahead and ordered a test fabric swatch in the b&w, and I’ll let you all know when it’s available! If it does well, or if I get more interest, I may also create some colorful options. ^v^
It’s been a while! I just learned how to make repeating/tile patterns, so I made one for my tumblr background. It’s a little busy, but I love it!
I doubt any of you love beetles as much as I do, but just out of curiosity, would any of you like me to put it on Spoonflower as a fabric/gift wrap pattern? If so, would you want it black and white like this or would you want a particular color?

Here’s a snippet of what I’m about to color. Get excited; I should be posting this full, finished puppy soon!
As I always say, when in doubt: Anjelica Huston.
It’s happened again! Thanks, Tumblr Radar! Hi, new followers! I haven’t been posting as often lately due to some personal stuff, but stick around and hopefully I’ll have some new art to post soon. I’m happy you’re here.

I really like this one. I think it can mean a lot of different things depending on who’s looking at it, which is part of the reason I made the person purposefully androgynous. That’s something I’ve been doing a lot recently anyway because I want my art to be welcoming and inclusive for non-binary and non-gender conforming friends. Also because the feminist in me thinks that smashing stereotypes is the best kind of fun. I got a little crazy with the colors this time. Tell me if you like it. [You can delete this paragraph if you want when you reblog, but please keep the title and my name. Thx.]
I’ve had a low grade fever for over a week, but I finally fought off my crappy illness-induced doldrums and finished the cheetah!
This morning I had 174 followers, and by this evening more than 400 of you have joined the party! I figure this is a good time to introduce myself and tell you a bit about myself!
